LA SALLE NATURAL SCIENCES MUSEUM

La Salle Natural Sciences Museum is one of the most complete natural history museums in Costa Rica. It is located in Sabana Sur, San José, and has a large collection of species, fossils, skeletons, insects, birds, reptiles, mammals, fish, shells, corals and scientific specimens. It is an educational visit recommended for families, students and anyone interested in biodiversity and natural history.

Monday: closed
Tuesday to Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sunday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Adults: ₡2,500
Senior citizens: ₡1,800
Children ages 2 to 12: ₡1,800
Tickets are purchased at the museum ticket office and no advance reservation is required.
