Barra del Colorado is a remote community in Costa Rica’s Northern Caribbean, located near the Nicaraguan border and surrounded by rivers, canals, wetlands and tropical forest. It is closely connected to Barra del Colorado National Wildlife Refuge, sport fishing, boat tours, birdwatching and Caribbean wildlife.
