Costa Ballena is a tourism region on Costa Rica’s South Pacific coast, mainly stretching between Dominical, Uvita and Ojochal. Its name means “Whale Coast” and it is associated with humpback whale migration, Marino Ballena National Park, long beaches, waterfalls, rainforest, surf and coastal communities with a natural, relaxed atmosphere.
