GRINGO BEACH

Playa Gringo is a small, less crowded beach located near Playa Ocotal, in the canton of Carrillo, Guanacaste. It is known for its hidden feel, dark sand, rocky scenery and generally calmer waters because it sits inside a bay. Access may require a hike, so it is usually visited by people looking for a quieter and more natural beach experience.

• Good spot for photos, relaxing and nature

Bring water, comfortable shoes and sun protection, as access may involve walking and there is little infrastructure. Check tides and sea conditions before entering the water. It is best listed as a hidden beach or natural point, not as a beach with formal tourist services.
