Culebra Bay is a protected bay in the Gulf of Papagayo, Guanacaste. It is known for calm waters, rocky coastline, nearby beaches and ecological value. The area is part of the Papagayo tourism corridor and is associated with beaches such as Panamá, Nacascolo, Manzanillo and sectors of the Papagayo Peninsula. It also has archaeological importance because of shell middens and ancient settlements studied in the area.
